How to change your Befaco panels
Many of you are considering upgrading your modules to our new line of matte black anodized aluminum panels. While there is always the possibility of making mistakes—and ultimately, the responsibility will be yours—we aim to help you understand how to remove and replace the panels, minimizing any potential damage.
This article offers simple help, but it is not a definitive guide; everything will depend on your skills with the tools.

Please note that the warranty does not cover any physical damage or malfunction of your module’s components resulting from upgrading to the new panel. Installation or handling of components is the user’s responsibility.
Perhaps the most complicated thing is to remove the knobs
Do not try to remove them with metal pliers as you will damage them, use rubber protected pliers.
1. Removing the knobs
First remove the knobs carefully without damaging them with the help of a pair of non-metallic pliers, you can also help yourself with a plastic lever of the kind normally found in phone or computer repair kits.
2. Removing the rest of the elements
Remove nuts and bolts if present using suitable tools to avoid damage.
If your module has LEDs, pay special attention not to bend any legs when removing the old panel.
3. Let us retrace our steps to finish our work.
When positioning the new panel pay special attention not to damage any components.
Confirm that the panel is completely flat with respect to the components.
Start by screwing on the nuts, bolts, screws, etc.
Then make sure that the knobs are in the right position.
Congratulations you have now upgraded your module panel!
